At least from Eastern Han Dynasty, Chinese began to represent people's birth dates with 12 animal signs. The animals were either chosen from daily life or myths, and later were evolved into the totems to remove ill fortune and exorcise evil spirits. Today, much alike the Western 12 constellations, Sheng Xiao is the key to decode people's character traits and even foretell their future destiny. The "Sheng Xiao" series of Minaxdo Wooden Artworks personated the images of the 12 animals. They are clad in Chinese tunic suit and posed in rigidly upright sitting position, which in turn renders a kind of dramatic artistic effect. They can be either placed on the desktop or carried as mascots.
The price is for anyone of 12 animal signs.
